Ebony Burris

Hi! I'm Ebony, the daughter of "Aunt Lynn." Since our team is only made up of two people we tend to do a little of everything together but for the most part, I am responsible for managing our image: all social media accounts as well as our website, email/text marketing campaigns, and organize vending operations for public events. I've always had an eye for design, layout and marketing ever since I was a little girl and I guess I can say I knew I would be able to use those skills to do something meaningful one day and that's exactly what I decided to do.

In 2016, I graduated from King's College majoring in graphic design. There, I learned my strengths and weaknesses as a designer, as well as how to strategically reach my target audience and efficiently get my message across, whatever the message may be. In other words, I found my voice in design and am not afraid to use it! I found a passion in marketing a good product and overall helping people.

A few years go by, and I'm working a regular 9-5 job and doing freelance work on the side, when my mother called me up to tell me that she wanted to quit her job to fulfill her dream of starting her own catering business and she wanted to do it alongside her daughter! I have seen my mom in action and I knew what she was capable of and she meant BUSINESS. I was filled with so many emotions when she asked me to be her business partner: excitement, nervousness, doubt, confusion; But above all, I felt honored that she trusted me enough to help mold her dream into a reality.

We have been in business since 2019, and we don't plan on looking back now! Every day I make it my mission to help spread her message of love using "Good Ole Fashioned Southern Cooking"!
